Plush Beauty Academy’s Permanent Jewelry Training is ideal for working beauty professionals, salon owners and serious career-switchers who want a plug-in service they can offer in a studio, salon, suite, or pop-up setting.
ONLINE TRAINING
Our self-paced online training can be completed from anywhere, focused on permanent jewelry setup, safety, welding fundamentals, troubleshooting, and client experience. This option is ideal if you want structure and standards, but don’t need hands-on coaching.
HANDS ON TRAINING
You’ll complete Day 1 self-guided online prep, then join us for 1 hands-on day in our Columbus, Ohio classroom to practice measuring, fitting, and welding with real-time corrections. You’ll leave knowing how to run appointments smoothly + with confidence.

Hands-On Day (In-Person)
You’ll train in our Columbus classroom for one hands-on day focused on permanent jewelry setup, welding technique, safety, and client experience. Expect live demos, guided practice, real-time corrections, and standards-based feedback so you can run confident appointments and deliver clean, secure welds.
What you’ll do in class:
· Station setup + safety workflow (what to do and what not to do)
· Tool overview: welder settings, electrodes, chain types + connectors
· Measuring + fit for bracelets/anklets/necklaces for comfortable wear
· Welding fundamentals: placement, pulse control, and consistent welds
· Troubleshooting: misfires, weak welds, chain breaks, and sizing issues
· Client intake, waivers, service steps, and checkout flow
· Add-ons + upgrades (charms/connectors) and how to present them naturally
· Aftercare + client expectations (so clients don’t panic over normal wear)
· Instructor demo + guided practice with real-time corrections
· Photo + content tips for marketing (angles, lighting, “sell the sparkle”)
